    i think its because it holds the card better, ive always bought those toploaders over the Regular stuff that sells at Walmart and such.

    Depends, there is magnetic holders, screw downs, snap tights. Really don't know what Lucite means though.

    I'm pretty sure they're all Lucite (plexiglass), but the ones labeled so are usually thicker and much stronger than regular top loaders.
