    Another article on card collecting

    http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...NG42KF3211.DTL

The last couple of articles I have read, have been towards the negative side.

Does anyone have some well written articles that have a more positive angle in regards to card collecting?

Well, greed is a negative thing. I don't think people are giving the cards enough time to appreciate in value. I mean, 10-15 years is hardly old, it's not even "retro". I'm sure Mantle's Topps RC wasn't worth thousands in the 60's, nor were people paying insane amounts of money for a Honus Wagner card in the 20's. It's nothing more than a failed get rich quick scheme.
