Worth buying packs?
There's someone I know online who is selling single packs. They're 05 relections, so not worth so much. However, he's letting them go for only around $1 a pack. I know he's probably searched through his boxes and these are the leftovers that contain probably nothing.
However, card searching usually cannot find AUTO cards or parallel rookie cards correct? Therefore, is it worth spending $1/pack just to get lucky and score that auto? There probably will be no GUs...
but my friend recently purchased from this guy and got 8 GUs out of 50 packs...so I don't actually know if they're search.
Good deal or no?

As long as they are not opened and resealed..can't go too wrong at a buck a pack..I'd buy 100

id say if your friend hit 8 gu in 50 packs, if thats retail its amazing...for a buck a peice you cant do to much wrong, although you can find autos by searching....there used to be a thread about it on the topps site because some of those bums are so good at it they know when cards any card is different

haha weird about cardsearching for autos. Must be tough..
Well I don't know if they're retail. They are 05 NFL Reflections with 5 or 4 cards per pack. So I'm guessing they're hobby packs...
