OK well this was a challenge for me. With such a wide range of cards in the Habs PC to choose from, how do you pick just one? Price, Beliveau, Lafleur, Roy, Richard...and many others.

Ultimately, I went with a card that is heavy on the symbolism. The ceremony every season for the Habs home opener features the sequence of the players passing the torch to one another, inheritors of the legacy of greatness of the Canadiens. Borrowed from "In Flanders Fields" the Habs have the famous line: "The torch! Be yours to hold it high!" emblazoned on the walk from the locker room to the ice at the Bell Centre. And this guy...this guy gets what it means to be a Montreal Canadien as well as anybody. Plus, what a beauty of a card!
