How soon after the auction ended? Within 3 days? Did he get a reply? If not, then that's not contact, it's just emailing.
GBizzle seems like a good person, but in his thread he's called this person a "manic dealer", "retard", "crazy ™™™" and "psycho mofo" (and maybe even a few I missed).
Given this + what he implied by "not calling this person a thief" and "not insulting their state", I just can't help but feel that this whole disaster could've been avoided with a little more tact from GBizzle.

My math skills may not be the best, but that does give her almost a 70% chance of it being her fault. It's as simple as that.
Furthermore, I did not ignore the dealer at all. In fact, she was late responding to MY e-mails. This might not be a 'real business' but I am the customer and her customer service was unacceptable. I guess in a way I was implying that this shady dealer did in fact steal my $$$(and she very well may have. You are very naive if you dont think this is possible) - but I don't know this person and don't know her tendancies.
It was only $12, a small price to pay for a valuable lesson learned.
PAYPAL ALL THE TIME FROM NOW ON!

Calling her a retard in my thread may have been a bit off taste, but she has the communication skills similar to a bucket of rocks. This dealer does present manic characteristics, up and down. She turned me in, no joke, four days after the auction ended. It took her days to respond to my e-mails. Now she wants to give me these cards for free, but I don't think I want them. She might be a terrorist and try to hijack my mail with some deadly potion on the card. I'm serious about this.

bottomline for anyone who is reading the looney thread/e-battle, always...always use paypal.

im gonna have to agree with jedi on this, but i think for different reasons (kinda lost me on his reasoning)....it was a PAYPAL ONLY auction....you clearly weren't willing to pay by the method that was specified, so filing a complaint in 4 days is not that unreasonable. people have stipulations like that for a reason....reguardless of what your reasons for not being able to pay by that method, you STILL didn't follow the instructions of the seller....i have had this happen before, and was not pleased at all....how can you put down someones "customer service" when you the customer cant follow the instructions of the seller?? people use paypal so that items can be shipped quickly (especially power sellers who move lots of product), and so there is no problem with money getting "lost" or "stolen"....honestly, i dont fault the seller at all for being upset, especially after you basically called them a "thief" AFTER you failed to follow the proper procedures

Proudmonkey...good point, but how did you find out it was a PayPal only auction? I'm curious to see the ebay page detailing the transaction. I would like to see for myself the eBay rating and feedback for the seller, and see at least part of the other side of the story.

You shouldnt worry about the non paying bidder thing unless it gives you a check mark. I have gotten probably 6 of these so far this year and its usually because I take 3 or 4 days to get payment out or I unknowingly do not realize that I have not payed for it yet. It never happns with sellers who except paypal though. Just message the seller and say that you were delayed in getting payment out and i should arrive in the next few days. Respond to the ticket on ebay saying that payment was sent and you should be good to go. Just make sure that you are nice to the seller and let them know that you are aware of the situation and are taking steps to alleviate the problem. Out of the 6 or so non paying bidder complaints I have recieved I have gotten no strikes for not paying for an item because I get it all worked out eventually.
