Plano TX Labor Day Weekend Event

Did you know the very first National Sports Card Convention was held on Labor Day weekend in 1980? That weekend all those years ago began a tradition which is still going strong nearly four decades later. To honor the National tradition our next show is part of a 4 day, 2 venue Labor Day sweep.
We will begin at our home at the Comfort Inn and Suites Plano East located at 700 E Central Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. This part of the weekend will be held on Friday September 2 from Noon to 6 PM and Saturday September 3 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Among our dealers will be nationally known dealers such as Roger Neufeldt of Oklahoma and Roland Belcher of Louisiana. Best of all, the table fees are a very affordable $70 for one table, $135 for 2 and we will be using the full ballroom for this show. Admission is only $1 per day as per our custom.
As always, we will have our full line of Beckett magazines and books available for sale.
Then we move to Rich's show which he hosts for the Adat Chaverim brotherhood. Adat Chaverim is located at 6300 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023. Adat is located in the shipping center in the Northeast Corner of Spring Creek and Independence in Plano. This show runs on Sunday September 4 from 10 AM to 4 PM and Monday September 5 from 11 AM to 3 PM. This show is a true old-school event where for just a $1 suggested donation, collectors receive a goodie bag with cards and a special prize ticket inside. Our anchor prizes for this show include a Roger Staubach RC and a 8 x 10 signed Joe Montana photo. We had nearly 200 bags remaining from the last show and have created more than 900 more bags for this show. In addition, we have so many cards that if yo9u wish a full box of cards similar to what we put into our grab bags, those will be available for $75. Refreshments are available on site and this is the show that truly brings the DFW sports card collecting community together.
We look forward to seeing you Labor Day weekend

Excited to have Pam Henderson, her husband Roy and brother Randy coming to our
Labor Day Weekend event. For those who don't know, Pam is Wanda Marcus' daughter
and always had great items to sell. They have not done a show in DFW area for at
    least 15 years.

Beckett Radio will be at our show, whether they take a
table or just walk around interviewing collectors and dealers -- we're glad they
are coming as well. Should be a fun weekend!

See you this weekend. As busy as I'll be starting tomorrow -- may not get many chances to post anywhere after tonight,
    And speaking of all that

Did you know the very first National Sports Card Convention was held on Labor Day weekend in 1980? That weekend all those years ago began a tradition which is still going strong nearly four decades later. To honor the National tradition our next show is part of a 4 day, 2 venue Labor Day sweep.

As always, we will have our full line of Beckett magazines and books available for sale. In addition, Beckett radio has confirmed they will be a presence at the show to talk to collectors and dealers. This will be a great chance to meet and greet some of the fine folks at Beckett Media. And, as we have been for the past few shows, we will have Decision 2016 boxes for sale. The dealers who have been purchasing them keep coming back for more, so you know when that occurs the product is top notch. The boxes are only $75 each

Excited to have Pam Henderson, her husband Roy and brother Randy coming to our Labor Day Weekend event. For those who don't know, Pam is Wanda Marcus' daughter and always had great items to sell. They have not done a show in DFW area for at least 15 years.

Beckett Radio will be at our show on Saturday. They will be there along with the great Kin Kinsley and ate bringing many neat things to give away including TCU football tickets and free cards for kids. Free cards is a perfect leadin to the next paragraph.

Then we move to Rich's show which he hosts for the Adat Chaverim brotherhood. Adat Chaverim is located at 6300 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023.
