TORONTO/NEW YORK (Aug. 23, 2016) -Hockey Canada announced today that San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture has been added to its 23-man roster for the World Cup of Hockey 2016, the best-on-best international hockey championship from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1, 2016. He replaces injured Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn. Couture, 27, will be entering his eighth NHL season in 2016-17, and led the League in assists and points during the 2016 Stanley Cup® Playoffs.
