New from MD (transplated from OH)

Hello all. I am new to the site, and have within the past year got back into collecting.

I stopped many years ago when I collected baseball and football in the early 80s to early 90s.

I decided to start again with a focus on collecting cards of current football players that attended The Ohio State University, which feature them in their OSU uniform. In addition, I also like the Leaf Army All American cards of current OSU players.

At some point, I may attempt to build a vintage Topps baseball set. If I end up diving in, I would go with either 1956 or 1970, which are two of my favorite sets. I would go with 1971, but that black border is just to painful.

Glad to be back and look forward to be parting of the community.

    Dave

Dave- Welcome to SCF! I agree with you about the 71's- it's the toughest set to find in nice condition.
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

    Thanks JFried1029.

I suppose putting together a Ex-NM 1971 would be an interesting long term challenge though.
