2016 Topps Archives Signature Series All-Star Edition Baseball Hobby Box for review

First and foremost, I'd like to thank our sponsors at Topps for providing us with this box.

This product is exactly what it says. You will receive a autograph from a player who has at least one All-Star to their credit. The autograph will be on a Topps or Bowman card from the past hence buyback cards. Each card will come in a one touch magnetic card holder with a Topps Archives sticker on the case to provide it legit. As one could easily put a card obtained thru the mail TTM and try to pass it off as legit, The gold sticker protects us from the unscrupulous folks out there.

These cards are all limited and are too limited for set collectors to put a set together. I would say this product is mainly aimed at pic or team collectors who would like to add some autographs to their collection. With some of the players not being big names those will be relatively inexpensive at $5 or so.

This product like others in the past include two new inserts that have never been offered on older offerings. The first one is a dual autograph. These are cards that will picture two players and are signed by both. The second one is a memorobilia card with an autograph. New offerings like this make me wonder what Topps will do in future Topps Archive Signatures offerings.

Two things I wish is that Topps would do in the future is:
    1) release a full checklist
    2) print run for the checklist

    What we pulled:

One cannot go wrong with a Bo auto numbered to almost 10 copies.

    Product Configuration:
    Packs per box: 1
    Cards per pack: 1
    Boxes per case: 20

    Price per box: $35-$48

    Final thoughts:
    Base- none
    Design - 4/5
    Fun - 4.5/5
    Value - 4/5
    Rebuy - 4/5
    Overall 16.5/20. (82.5%)

Once again, I'd like to thank our wonderful sponsors at Topps for giving us the opportunity to open and review this release. For more information on all of their products, visit them today at www.topps.com.
