Instructional League with the Yankees (10/01 and 10/05)
Went to Yankees camp a couple of times to get some of their top prospects.
10/01 was against the Orioles, I got there early for a 10am game. Once I arrived, gates were locked and we were told the game was not until noon. Gave us more of a chance for autographs and got guys between fields, leaving the field to go to the clubhouse for lunch before the game, and again coming back on the field before the game. As a bonus, some of the guys that are going to Arizona Fall League were there, which is why I always keep everything in my car (just in case).
Drew Finley 4/4
Clint Frazier 2/4
Dermis Garcia 3/7
Billy McKinney 2/8
Blake Rutherford 8/8 plus baseball (also wrote Go Blue on one since I'm a UM fan and he's from Michigan)
Justus Sheffield 2/4
Tyler Wade 2/6 (plus 1 on 50/50)
Gleyber Torres 1 8x10
Alex Rodriguez 1 OMLB (big crowd for him, he signed for most)

Went back on Wednesday (10/05) for camp day, I was the only one there for most of the day, arriving at 9:30am. Only Yankees, me, and a few scouts from the Giants and Pirates. I didn't know they were playing a split squad 5 inning game at 1pm so I figured I'd at least have to stay until then. Basically I watched guys practicing and switching fields for a couple of hours, then got some guys as they left the field and when they came back for the intersquad game.
Miguel Andujar 1/4
Kyle Holder 3/8 (very excited, as he is not really much of a signer and when he does, it's usually only 1)
Billy McKinney 2/4
Gleyber Torres 3/4 (usually one per, but I asked him early and when they were done working out a few hours later he walked right over to me and signed)
Luis Torrens 3/8
Clint Frazier 2 OMLBs (and a picture with him)
Early in the game, Hoy Jun Park cracked his bat. With no other fans there, I figured I had a good shot at getting it after the game, so I waited until they were finished around 2:30pm. I walked over and asked him if I could have his cracked bat, he said "you want it?", I said yes, and he went back into the dugout and got it for me, then signed it.

He's actually a decent signer, I've probably gotten him about 7 or 8 times over the years. The Yankees aren't quite as crazy anymore since Jeter retired.

Thanks, it was a good couple of days. I used to go to many major league spring training and regular season games, and finally figured out I do much better going after the minor league camps and games. Players are nicer and they are more willing to sign, there are less people getting autographs (depending on the team), and it's cheaper. Wish I started doing this several years ago.

I'm in teh wrong part of the country. I have a Trip-A team near me... I wanna go catch the Bowling Green Hot Rods next season, but I've never known how to graph in person. :/

Same here. Sucks not being near a minor league team.
That is a hell of a haul! Congrats!
