2016 Topps Heritage Baseball high numbered Hobby Box for Review

2016 Topps Heritage High Numbers Hobby Box

    24 packs per box
    9 cards per pack
    Current Retail Price (online): $53-75$

First and foremost, I'd like to thank our sponsors at Topps for providing us with this box.

Topps Heritage only guarantees one hit in either a relic or autograph. So, one might think that they might want to bypass this product due to only one hit. If someone takes the time to look at the autograph and game used list its quite impressive with current stars and past all stars. Here is a link to the checklist:

This design follows the low number Topps Heritage set that caters to those that love set builder or vintage cards. The base set is numbered from 500 thru 700 can be put together in almost one box. One will definitely need two boxes to complete the base set. The collation is awesome as we only had one dupe in the 200 plus cards we opened in our box. The short prints are seeded at a ratio of 1 in 3 packs. So expect to get around 8 short prints per box. So 3 or 4 boxes would allow one to put the full set of sp's together. There are 25 sp's all together making the set 225 cards in total.

The 2015 Topps Heritage High Number box has many variations to chase, from action image, chrome base, banner text color swap, mini variations, etc. One could decide to chase one variation or go for the complete master set which would be extremely challenging.

This year the 2016 Tops Heritage High Numbered Baseball goes back and uses the 1967 Topps set design. So if you love the design of the original 1967 Topps Set you will love this product.
