Artifacts Redemption Help - Roman Numeral "I" and Maple Leafs

    Good afternoon,

Long time member that hasn't posted in about 8 years, but knew that I couldn't trust any of the other forums for hockey related information.

Likely beating a dead horse here, but I have two redemptions from 2016/17 Artifacts, and I see differing information online.

Do the roman numerals correspond directly with the spots in the draft?

I am holding an "I" redemption, and a Maple Leafs redemption. Before I trade or sell them, I want to check on the varbiage I should use. Is Roman Numeral "I" confirmed to be Matthews, and the Maple Leafs redemption likely to be Matthews?

I would say that nothing is 100 % confirmed until UD actually produces their list however, if they follow the same pattern of draft order like they have done for past Artifacts releases then it should be Matthews. Where it starts to breakdown is when some of the first round picks don't actually play this year so anyone with a I or II should feel comfortable with who they will likely get whereas a III will likely be Pulijarvi who was actually the number 4 pick in the draft. The higher Roman numerals will likely be filled out with top prospects from previous years who are finally see their first NHL action, ie) Marner and Konecny

The want list at this link features what I need of Giroux, Couturier, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous set. If you have nothing from it I will consider CFL cards, current Senators, Carey Price, Guy Lafleur, Patrick Roy (Habs), vintage hockey (pre 1970) and trade bait.

    Thanks and Happy Trading.

Thanks for the quick reply. Figured it was safe to go ambiguous, and just include in the description "Presumably of Auston Matthews"

    Thanks again!
