UD S1 4 box break Just when I think Upper Deck can't get any dumber...

I wasn't pleased with last year's Series 1. Opened 10 boxes and got 2 actual hobby hits. This year seems to be a different story. Really love the inclusion of the Acetate cards and think that adds a lot of value.

Perhaps I got luck too, but her is my break of 4 boxes. Shout out to Wally at Pro Sports. The cards were in fantastic condition.

First off, Canvas Young Guns. 3 in 4 boxes is pretty great:

Next, the best Young Guns. Have to admit that I'm not totally familiar with this year's crop, but the middle guy makes the break, and Tkachuk is a nice bonus for this Flames fan:

Got lucky hit an Acetate Young Guns too...

Then actual hobby hits...not used to this after last year. Not the greatest players, but it's gravy at this point:

    Then an auto!

Finally, as someone who more or less only breaks S1/S2, the best patch I've ever pulled:

There you have it...not mega hit, but in my opinion I killed the odds this year. Whenever you pull the big YG early it's a great break. Props to Upper Deck for releasing a much improved product this year with a lot more value.
