My response fom Upper Deck

So I got a box of 14-15 Premier for Christmas (The highest end product that I've ever opened). It guarantees 1 Rookie Auto Patch per box, mine was an error card. It was a Curtis Lazar card with what reddit helped me determine was a Columbus Blue Jackets patch.

This is the response I got from Upper Deck when I emailed them about the situation:

"Hello, We do see that the patch in the card is incorrect and is an error card. Unfortunately this card will not be able to be replaced as we can only replace the card with the same year, set for set and year for year. The newer product has been released, our apologize but we will not be able to assist in this matter. If the matter was addressed before the newer product was released we could have assisted but there would have no guarantees if you would have received the same card. This card does not looked damaged and again is an error card which actually hold a little more value. Thank You".

Does any one have any suggestions for what can be done? Someone has to know of an email or someone I can contact that can help more than Audrey at customer service was able to... Please.

I've called, Audrey at customer service was not very sympathetic or understanding. She refused to put me through to anyone higher than her. I called back and quoted the back of the card that states "the event-used memorabilia is guaranteed by upper deck". She didn't seem to understand how crucial that "guarantee" is to things like this. I told her I can 100% guarantee that Curtis Lazar didn't do any photo shoots in a Blue Jackets jersey so essentially they should be obligated to replace my card.

Call again and again until you get what you deserve. That's pathetic and I would not be happy.

They're saying they don't have anymore 14-15. That's . They have some for sure. Like the previous member said phone again and again. Tell your story on their facebook page too.

I will, hopefully I don't get her again. She wouldn't direct my call to anyone else, she said there was no one higher up than her. I said I'd speak to someone lower than her if they were more competent lol

If its a blue jackets patch did Lazar play or compete in any of the rookie All-Star game events or skills competition in the 2014-15 All-Star Game in Columbus ?

Theyres'a ton of them on ebay, all have Sens patch.

There were quite a few of wrong patches used in 14/15 Premier.

Were literally talking about $10 - $15 here. Keep it if you like the novelty, or move it if you dont. The difference between 14/15 and 16/17 is pretty big, we all know UDs policies on "older" product. Im pretty sure they dont employ the most competent people on UDs assembly line

So you think it's best to just move on? This is the highest end product I've ever opened and the main attraction of these products is the Rookie Auto Patches, I think I have a right to be angry about this.
