Yesterday, I went to a show in Rosemont, IL, where I paid for an autograph and inscription on a mini helmet from 2-time Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl XXV MVP Ottis Anderson of the New York Giants. I don't normally pay for autos, but for a Giants Super Bowl Champion, I had to go for it.

Lucked out a few years ago when Otis was in NJ when the Super Bowl was here. Got a few autos for free and he loved showing off his ring and letting people try it on. Did he do that with you.

No, he was wearing both rings, but wasn't showing them off or letting people try them on. Some 85 bears do that as well, which is cool

This evening, I went to an appearance at a Goodwill in Lake Zurich, IL with current Chicago Bears defensive star Akiem Hicks. Mr. Hicks was very friendly, and signed 2 cards for me, for free.

This past week, I was at my in-laws in Scottsdale, AZ for Thanksgiving, and went for my annual trip to Chandler, AZ for the Big Red Rage radio show, the weekly show for the Arizona Cardinals. I got two autographs on cards from former running back Ron Wolfley, 2 autos on cards from the new host of the show, Karlos Dansby (he replaced Calais Campbell, who is with Jacksonville now), and one auto on a generic card from the special guest, linebacker Kareem Martin. I wish they announced in advance, so I could have brought something for Martin, but nice to get 5 autos on vacation.

Wednesday evening, I went to a bar where they were broadcasting a live radio show, where the guest was former Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs. Mr. Briggs signed two cards for me, for free, in Mt. Prospect, IL.

This evening, I went to an appearance by model Jenny McCarthy, who was in town promoting her new vodka flavored beverage, Blondies. Jenny signed one bottle, 2 cards, and 1 Playboy magazine for me, for the price of a bottle of her new drink, and took photos with everyone there.

Your year of in person success is impressive. What is really cool is how many autographs you score for free. Sure, anyone autograph can be purchased, but you show how many can be collected at a cost of just time, gas, and patience. I hope you finish 2017 strong!

Yesterday, I went to a casino in East Chicago, IN (which is right across the border in Indiana from Illinois), for an appearance by former/current Chicago Blackhawk Marian Hossa. A ton of people came out for this free signing, and I had Mr. Hossa sign two cards for me, for free, including one of the Stanley Cup Champions set that I am always working on.
