SCF implementing https to the forums
Members -
I am working on getting https configured on the site. It is important to get this done for several reasons: security, future growth if we put in a full storefront as well as other benefits with overall site rankings.
If you notice any issues, please post them here.

Just as an update, the forums of SCF is now a secure website (https). In your browser you will see the following (image from Chrome)
forum_secure_1.png
When you click on the lock, it will provide the SSL information (image is from Firefox)
forum_secure_1a.png
there will be some threads that might not show this information; such as this thread you are reading because there are elements that are referenced that are coming from a non-SSL (http) source.

when this happens, you will see the following

Any old SCF link that had an http:// for the link has been (or will be) re-written to use https://. This would include links to threads, images stored on SCF, etc.
If you have questions, please ask.
