*** UPDATE ***

Ok, folks, I have now tallied the last two days' worth of games, thus concluding the month of March. Here are a few notables:


- Firstly, congratulations to the month of March 2017 winner, bearpup. Obviously with the scoring changes in effect, this month's winner was inevitably going to be setting the new monthly record for the contest, and with a total of 360 RPs, bearpup now owns boasting rights to that accomplishment. Overall, he had a beast of a month, putting up the max 8/25 (8 SP/25 RP) on several occasions.

- A big honorable mention has to go out to gojacks for his performance this month as well. He came out to a very strong start and lead at the beginning of the month, setting the pace. Unfortunately, a bit of a cold spell in the middle ended up being more than he could overcome to retake his lead, even with putting up back-to-back 8/25 nights to close out the month, finishing with a very respectable 327 RPs, good for a second place tie with the standard bearer of daily max point predicting, mister bbcardzman, who also had a solid month and a 327 RP total finish. gojacks is now also the all-time leader in 15-game streaks, with 4.

- Also deserving of special mention is kobe1101j, who has been able to put together numerous respectable streaks over the last month. His most current and active streak, however, has brought him up to 32, only one shy of jdlee's all-time record of 33. That's the second longest streak ever in this contest, and it is still active. He saw his name added to the short, coveted "30-game" streak list on the spreadsheet, as well as the 25-game streak list. He was joined on the 25-game streak list this month by another strong performer this month, steelers6, who seems to be capable of putting together a nice streak at any given moment. Congrats on those feats, gentlemen.

- One final thing, as I'm sure you have noticed, I've slightly re-organized the spreadsheet again, this time moving the monthly streak section to the far right end, rather than under the 25-game streak column where it was previously, and adding some specifics, to make it a bit more specific and reflective of past achievements.

- if anyone notices anything that's off, please let me know!


- March monthly payouts will begin now. I've got 32 to make, so be patient, but everyone should have their March payout by the end of the night tonight (Saturday).
