Agreed. I purposely avoid players on the teams I cheer for in all of my fantasy leagues/teams. I just can't trust myself to make an objective assessment as to what I can expect them to give me.

I also thought that with the way things have been lately, it's been very baseball-heavy and I wanted to change things up a bit. I kind of put this card out there with the intention that it's a bit of a blindside. Having said that, a simple look at the MLS standings should tell you who you should be picking in most games. I'm also pretty stoked about the Ward-Kovalev II fight, so I wanted to put it on the card in case there were others out there with somewhat of an interest in it as I have. I had actually meant to make it a bit more lucrative a selection (rather than level 3 status... 5SPs/20RPs kind of a thing) but I was dead tired last night and forgot. My bad! I was also hoping that the baseball pitchers duel card from Thursday was a bit of a unique take as well.

Baseball will be back tomorrow, and I'd like to get something that reflects the PGA US Open as well in there. It's so tough to do golf in this contest. I find it's easiest to wait until Sunday and base the prediction on what the leaderboard is going into the final day. I'm sure everyone has different likes and dislikes amongst the sports. I try to make sure there's variety and that everyone gets a chance at the sports they enjoy.

Keep up the good work Paul! I am not crazy about the little win streaks lately and then do terrible the next day. Trying to stay in the top 5! Didn't use to think about not picking the Yankees like I do now and thanks for the input James and Paul about favorite teams and players. I can still learn things in my 60's!
