Oh I can't wait for crypto currency to take over payments. User to user without anyone else getting in the way.

It's pretty bad that they would freeze the account strictly based off one keyword. It's highly unlikely people transferring money for nefarious reasons are going to state those reasons in the comment section of a paypal transaction.

Bitcoin and other crypto's are probably licking their chops with this story. Just adds fuel to the fire that those crypto's want and sooner or later they will be the payment option to use.

What does this have to do with hockey?

It has to do with PayPal, which is what many collectors use to buy and sell hockey cards and other millions of other things. PayPal and collecting are intertwined.

To see what PayPal has done, and the reason why, is despicable to me. I feel it is relevant to bring this to the attention of collectors.

I personally do not have a PayPal account (for very different reasons) but after reading that story, I simply refuse to get an account with them.

This could be a good discussion in the chit-chat forum I think.
