Celtics basketball star Fab Melo dies in his sleep aged 26

Former Syracuse University and Boston Celtics basketball center Fab Melo died in his home country of Brazil Saturday morning, according to multiple reports.
Melo died in his sleep, Brazilian commentator Everaldo Marques posted on Twitter.
The 26-year-old lived with his mother and two sisters.

Way too young to die in one's sleep. Still waiting to hear how such a tragic thing could have occurred to a healthy individual.

Tall/big people just don't live that long comparatively. I forget who, did an interesting piece on the subject of the NBA and its retired players not all that long ago. I had never really thought about it before but it makes sense when you consider the internal stresses that must occur. If you follow the obituaries this type of thing happens fairly often with ex-NBA players. But still, 26 is way too young to succumb to any such malady.
