1996-97 Fleer Ultra Hobby Boxes; Damaged Cards

Anybody else want to share horror stories about these boxes? I bought two of them and ALL the cards gloss was adhered to each other. Much to my dismay I pulled damaged Kobe and Iverson RCs in horror. These boxes were not cheap either, just want to warn people who still have sealed hobby/retail boxes.

Yikes, definitely a bummer. :( Sadly, the gloss sticking and peeling off the cards is definitely an issue that can happen with that set.

I heard you can put the packs in the freezer to loosen them. If you have any you haven't pulled apart yet it's worth trying.
