Chandler Parsons. Great Player. But no hobby love?
Chandler Parsons cards go for under $10. His rookie autos go for basically very little. He is a great player with good stats and everything. Why do his cards get so little hobby interest?

He's already been on 3 different teams and has a career scoring average under 15 per game. You aren't going to have your cards going for a ton of money with stats like that.

Not sure why you think that. He's putting up career lows this year, and even prior to that, his numbers were just mediocre:

Great player?
It's hard to gain any hobby momentum when you're tossed from team to team and are injury prone.
Maybe you're thinking of that other white dude, Gordon Hayward?

LOL yeah I always thought of Parsons as Gordon Hayward light, and I almost made that comparison; maybe that is who the OP was thinking of, but confused the two. Hayward has consistently gotten better each year, getting stronger and improving his game to the point where he made All-Star this year, whereas Parsons appears to be the same loose-jointed, average-at-everything player he always was.

Hayward is definitely underrated, in the hobby, but more so within the spectrum of the NBA. He's arguably a Top-10 wing right now (Top-5 SF), and right smack in the prime of his career. This is largely a product of playing in small-market Utah, as was the case for Karl Malone, and to a lesser extent John Stockton.
If he continues to attack the hoop like he has been lately that could change a bit. But to stand out within the hobby for any period of time, you have to be really good, which in all honesty can only be said for a handful of players. That will never change. You have your elite hobby attractions...and then everyone else.

Probably because he's so tired from all the women chasing after him. I swear I've seen his name linked to every 20 something signer, actresses, and model on the planet. If he's getting zero hobby love he is making up for it by getting "love" off the court.

Yeah apparently lots of women find him hot. He doesn't titillate my tugboat; we all know that's Love of the Cavs. Yet unlike Parsons, he seems to manage fine on the court...or does he? I mean, that knee injury did seem to come on kind of mysteriously ...
