Here is a breakdown of Upper Deck promotions available at the show:
UD Spring Expo Promotional Pack Wrapper Redemption – Open Friday-Sunday until product runs out.


Open one sealed hobby box of the following boxes at the Upper Deck booth after presenting staff with your voucher to receive a FREE Spring Expo UD Promotional Pack.

Each three-card UD Spring Expo Promotional Pack will contain at the very least three 2016-17 NHL® Upper Deck Series Two Midnight parallel cards numbered to just 25 copies (cards 251-450). Packs may also contain two Midnight parallel cards and a Parkhurst Priority Signings Autograph card! Some rare packs will contain two Midnight parallels cards and an instant redemption card good for a rare Upper Deck Authenticated memorabilia item!

Pretty excited about Brian Elliott having a auto card, hopefully its just not left over stickers from a previous signing session, I hope its a sign of more Elliott autos and cards to come.

I realize that, I just meant I hope he has done a fresh signing with them. UD hasn't had any Elliott autos since his rookie year 07-08, would be nice to see a few pop up in a few releases this year.

If I was a betting man, I'd say leftovers.....

They've got some rookie content in there (including some bigger names) but to me it looks like they used a bunch of first & second year players that they (most likely) have an excess amount of stickers for.... or vets that they can dump some remaining stickers.

Free is free, and it's a cool program for UD to run all the time.... but these redemptions continue to get weaker over the years, not better. Once upon a time all redemptions were for a Priority Signing. Most of it was a stick dump, but there would be a shot at Gretzky, Crosby, Roy, Orr, etc, etc. Now? You're only eligible for premium players if you break a case.... and yeah, you could pull one of the big rookie autos, or a superstar vet like Matt Zuccarello.

Yeah, bad enough a box doesn't give you a shot at a premium player, but it's also disappointing that you aren't guaranteed at least a scrub Priority Signing. Especially since you have to buy an overpriced box on the show floor now. At least it was something.

But, the redemption program was how I pulled my one and only Gretzky signed card and that was pretty cool!
