    New York Card Shows?

    I'm new to NYC and was hoping anyone had information on card shows in the area? This is the most I've ever been invested (time-wise) in the hobby so I'd love to find a show to table at and sell some stuff. Any help is appreciated!

    hope that helps. I am sure if you attend that one they will be able to tell you other possible shows in the city or other locations to check out.

    @doniceage thanks! I actually found the website for that show last night and emailed the email that was on the site. Just waiting for them to get back to me since I don't want to just show up and table if I'm not allowed to do that.

    Your welcome! Let us know how the show goes? It always good to give a report as I am sure sooner or later another member will ask about the show.

    @doniceage
    He got back to me. If anyone is interested it's $35 for a 6 foot table, $50 for 2 to set up. Next show is on the 8th. Any tips for setting up and displaying cards and also how to price and sell them? This will be my first show.

    A few quick tips:
    1) If you have high end cards take a case that locks up. If not bring a buddy to keep a eye on the table if you look around.
    2) Marking your cards by prices in a 4 or 5 row box 25 cents in this row .50 in this row, $1 in this row $5 in this row etc. It definitely helps with people who like prices.

    Will look up a few threads and see if I can find them and link back to you for more helpful hints.

    @doniceage I really appreciate the tips and the link! I have an idea how I want to organize things but I still need to figure out pricing for non discount items. Do people do above or below eBay by any chance? I don't have access to BVs. This is my last question I promise!
