    Former NBA star Patrick Ewing, 54, has been hired as the new head coach for Georgetown's men's basketball team, several outlets confirmed Monday.

    Ewing will be leaving his job as an associate head coach for the Charlotte Hornets immediately to get to work in Washington, DC.

    I think this is a good move for Georgetown, he actually deserved a shot at an NBA post but that is the Knicks loss.
