    Smittzerland's IP thread

I don't do much IP graphing as I did when I was younger, but I figured it'd be cool to share what I get.

4/26/2017 Trenton Thunder at NH Fisher Cats (DH)

Last night, I saw Trenton play NH in a double-header to make up the game that got rained out the night before. Got there right before Game 1 started (5:05), so I wasn't able to get anyone. Ballpark was dead due to how unpredictable the weather was (at points during the day, it was downpouring!) The on-field MC made a joke that only 56 fans were there.

In the 30 minute intermission, I was able to do a little bit of graphing:

Anthony Alford 2/5 (according to a guy I met, he usually signs everything. He couldn't this time since he was late for warmups)
Richard Urena 1/1 (according to the same guy, Urena usually does 1-2 per)

    img003.jpg

Left right when Game 2 ended, since I had to be up early this morning. Pretty happy with my results.

Don't know when I'm going to graph next, but I'll post in here whether or not I'll take 50/50s or consignments on anyone.

Thanks! Most of it was within 5-10 minutes, but I'm pretty happy about getting back out there.

5/7/2017 Binghamton Rumble Ponies at NH Fisher Cats

Took a break from studying for finals to take in a game. I focused solely on Binghamton, since I didn't have much and Binghamton doesn't come back to town until the end of June.

    Pre-game:
    Corey Taylor 1/1

    Post-game:
    P.J. Conlon 3/3
David Thompson 0/2 (just narrowly missed him after Conlon signed. Will either send these to him TTM or see if someone can get him on a 50/50)

    img011.jpg

Pretty happy with my impromptu graphing session. Don't know when I'll go to another game, but it'll likely be against Reading in a couple weeks.

5/27/2017 Reading Fightin Phils at NH Fisher Cats

Managed to sneak out to a game last night. Started on the Reading side, and moved to the NH side after

    Scott Kingery 3/4
    Mitch Walding 1/1
    Andrew Pullin 2/2
    img018.jpg

    Harold Ramirez 5/7
    img019.jpg

Narrowly missed Conner Greene due to me being spacey

Overall, happy with how I did. Really wished I was paying attention for Greene. Probably will graph one game next home-stand, which has Erie and Akron coming in.

6/11/2017 Akron RubberDucks at NH Fisher Cats

Made out to a game this past Sunday. Started out on the Akron side, and got nothing. Went to the NH after

    Richard Urena 1/1
    Harold Ramirez 3/6
    2017.06.11 NH (Urena & Ramirez).jpg

Postgame, went to the Akron side. Francisco Mejia told everyone pregame that he would sign after the game, so I got swarmed. He signed for everybody, but he kept skipping over me for whatever reason. Thought he was going to leave, but he ended up signing all my stuff while having a conversation with me. Really grateful that he did that. He's going to make a fan out of me when he reaches the Majors.

    Francisco Mejia 4/4

Very happy with my results, even though I missed out on a few guys. Next homestand has Harrisburg and Binghamton. Very likely to go to one of the Harrisburg games, as I'm going to CT for my cousin's graduation from high school over the weekend. If I get back early, I may go to the Sunday Binghamton game.

6/22/2017 Harrisburg Senators at NH Fisher Cats

Went out last night after work. Stuck to just the Harrisburg side pregame, and somehow I got everything that I brought.

    Osvaldo Abreu 1/1
    Stephen Perez 2/2
Raudy Read 2/2 (note to everyone: please prep your glossy cards, especially the 2017 Topps Pro Debuts. Have been hit or miss with these
    Jose Marmolejos 1/1
    Matt LeCroy 1/1
    Matt Crownover 2/2

Very happy with how I did, especially since everyone I was with said Harrisburg wasn't signing after BP. Not going to the Binghamton game on Sunday since I will get home after gametime. Will definitely be at multiple games during the next homestand, which brings Trenton to town. Trenton doesn't sign too well, so I'll see what I can do.

7/2/2017 Trenton Thunder at NH Fisher Cats (DH)

I had a 4-day holiday weekend from work, so I thought it would be a good idea to go to a couple games and graph. Sunday, I chose to solely graph Trenton, which is a tough team to get.

7/3/2017 Trenton Thunder at NH Fisher Cats

After the previous night's game, I bought a 2017 team set to work on as an excuse to graph the NH side. Pregame I got a majority of NH's position players in the set.

Postgame, I tried graphing by the buses, which I've never done before. Snagged a few Trenton players, in addition to the Fisher Cats' strength and conditioning coach Brian Pike.

    Matt Dean 2/2
    Jonathan Davis 1/1
    Gunner Heidt 1/1
    Tim Lopes 1/1
    Ryan McBroom 1/1
    Brian Pike 1/1

    Josh Rogers 1/1
    Justus Sheffield 1/3
    Domingo Acevedo 1/2

Overall, happy with my results. Bummed that I didn't get Mateo, who only signed pregame and skipped me a few times. Next graphing opportunity is the Eastern League All-Star Game next Wednesday. I have a lot of stuff coming in to get, so I'm very excited.

7/12/2017 Eastern League All-Star Game in Manchester, NH

I managed to get out of work early to go to the All-Star Game. Got to the park for 3:15, and there was a long line getting in. Gates opened at 4. Pregame, both all-star teams were at tables around the stadium signing autographs for 45 minute periods during BP. The first session had the Western Division signing while the Eastern Division took BP, while the second was the opposite. Before I entered, ballpark staff handed out a schedule of who was signing where.

I chose to start with the table at Section 103. Got the following:

    Slade Heathcott 3/5
    Garabez Rosa 1/1
    Christin Stewart 2/10
    Aderlin Rodriguez 3/3

Next, I went to the suite level, followed by the kids' play area. Got the following:

    Gabriel Quintana 3/3
    Wyatt Mathisen 7/7
    Jose Marmolejos 1/1
    Jairo Labourt 2/2
    Adrian Marin 5/5

Next, I went to Section 108, followed by Section 106. Got the following:

    Omir Santos 6/6
    Yu-Cheng Chang 3/3

I knew that I was running low on time, so I chose to get in line for the table at Section 110, since Rafael Devers would be signing there during the second session. While I waited, I watched the line slowly wrap around the concourse. Stadium staff repeated over and over that Devers would only sign one item, which was something I was cool with. Ultimately got the following:

    Rafael Devers 2/13
    Gary Allenson 7/7

It was cool that Devers did two for people with cards. While I was waiting in line, Devers and Gary Allenson were talking about the culture in Boston since Devers had a feeling that he would be up there soon.

Next, I went to Section 111, and got the following:

    Luis Guillorme 1/1
    Thairo Estrada 1/1
    zD91zCC.jpg

Then, I went back to Section 103, and got the following:

    Vince Horsman 1/1
    Conner Greene 7/7
    xFJS12t.jpg
    http://imgur.com/xFJS12t

Was planning on going to either Section 106 or the kids' play area, but I ran out of time.

Overall, extremely happy with my results. Next graphing opportunity will likely be Tuesday against Reading. Still need to get Tocci, but Lourdes Gurriel just got promoted to NH, so I might try to get him. Excited nonetheless.
