Video: Predators’ Fiddler ejected for knee-to-knee on Blues’ Parayko
Hey, remember when Vernon Fiddler was a feel-good story in scoring an unlikely, lucky goal to seal Game 1 for the Nashville Predators?
That feel-good story didn’t extend very far into Game 2 against the St. Louis Blues.

Reminds me of Ulf and Cam ... and can you imagine how the NHL could have changed had Bobby's knees stayed together?
This is 100% BS. Suspend for the rest of the series. stay

I dont think it was that bad of a hit. Sure, he collided with him knee on knee but if you watch the replay Parayko seen him coming & tried to side step the hit but didnt get fully out of the way resulting in the knees hitting. Samuellsson & Marchment were horrible for these hits.Samuellsson ended many a good career doing that, Neely & Clark were never the same after he did it to them.. Fiddler isnt a dirty player & I highly doubt it was intentional but it happened & it shouldnt have. I think it warranted a penalty but not a 5 minute major. Ive seen worse hits in these playoffs that didnt even get called. Ovechkin is 1 of the worse offenders, he takes healthy runs at guys & leads with his elbows up high ramming the players head into the glass. He did it many times to Gardiner & Zaitsev in the Toronto series. Not 1 time did he get a penalty for boarding or charging.. Just my opinion though..
