Tribetown's Summer Showoff Thread!

School's out, summer has started, and so should the graphing! I hope to hit up a lot of Mud Hens (AAA) games this summer. I will also be going to the NSCC show, and should be able to get some auto's there. Here are my goals for the summer.

-300 autographs by August 21
This goal is my quantity goal

-10 HOF autographs (any sports)
This goal is my quality goal

-25 autos TTM (doesn't matter when I receive, as long as a send by the 21st)
I would like to get into more TTM

-15 Non-sports autos (country music, or actors)
Big country music fan, and you can't go wrong with actors.

- Hit 100 unique Indians auto'd cards (not sure what I'm at now)
This goal is for my PC

-3 Foul balls/Home run
I'm hoping to try to catch one during BP!

-Have fun

Well, I wasn't able to go for Durham last night, but I was able to pick up a nice addition(s)

Jake "The Snake" Roberts was signing at the game last night. He is a WWE HOF in the Class of 2014. This is the first, and probably last WWE auto I will ever get, but I was able to get 2 photos signed. I'll be heading back tonight to try to get some Hens autographs!



He rolled with black, so this didn't come out the way I planned.

I'm not counting him as non-sport. I'm not a wrestling fan, but can't go wrong with a HOF. I also researched him, and learned a lot! I'll be back tonight, and hope to add to the Summer Showoff Thread!

WOW, what a day! It was team autograph day, which allowed me to get all the Hens at one time. Well, other than Bruce Rondon. If you can get him to sign, tell me your trick. I haven't seen him touch a Sharpie in 2 years. He wasn't even at TEAM autograph day lol. Oh well, still had a great day! This year was well organized, and I was able to get everyone, with a few mins to spare. Than, I headed down to the Bulls side for the last 45 mins. Best day I've had in a long time!

I love these custom cards, they look great, and work for players I don't have cards of!



I actually had a little extra time, so I got Kyle Ryan on an 8x10, which I had left over from a few years ago. Most players were signing multiples, but in the past it was 1 per, so I only had one card for most people. Anyway, so far, so good on the Hens. But wait, there's more!

That was my haul from Toledo, which was pretty awesome! I'll graph them more this year, but I figured I would go for the Bulls today, as this is their last time in Toledo this year.

Felt like I had an amazing day! If someone wants to take the rest of my Durham on 50/50, that would be awesome. I have about 6-8 cards.

Had a great day at the mailbox today. I received my first non-sport autograph of the summer. It was actually an e-mail success, which is even better! I received country music signer Maren Morris 1/0 in just over a week.





It looks awesome signed in gold, and she is one of my favorite country music stars. This also added to many of my goals!


I only have 51 days to finish my IP goals. Not looking good. All TTM's will count, as long as they are sent BEFORE August 21. Also, I will probably have some TTM goals, as well as a few IP goals that start after the 21st.


Total Autographs: (43-300) Added 1! I'm on pace to wind up at about 200. Need to step it up!


HOF Autographs: (1-10) On pace for 5. Really need to work on this one.


TTM(E-Mail counts) Autographs: (4/25) Added 1! On pace for 20, not doing terrible.


Non-Sport Auto's: (1/15) Added 1! On pace for 5, need to step it up.


Unique Indians auto's: (0/100) Haven't counted yet.
