Arrow LeBron James to be Traded THIS SUMMER? The ONLY 2 Realistic Trade Opps IMHO

Word is that Dan Gilbert might go gangster and TRADE LEBRON NOW so he can receive a King's ransom for the King, before LeBron leaves Cleveland with NOTHING next summer.

If this happens, the ONLY TWO teams that I feel have a realistic shot at acquiring LeBron NOW are the Boston Celtics and the San Antonio Spurs.

The Celtics could trade the following SEVEN players for LeBron: Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Terry Rozier, James Young, Jordan Mickey, Amir Johnson and Tyler Zeller

Boston would romp through the East to the Finals and matchup well with GSW with a IT/Bradley/LeBron/Crowder/Horford lineup ... and the Cavs would have insurance in Smart if Kyrie forces a trade as has been reported, as well as a bevy of young studs to grow with.

The Spurs could trade the following SIX players for LeBron: LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray, Kyle Anderson, Davis Bertans, Bryn Forbes and Dewayne Dedmon

San Antonio could beat the Warriors with a Mills/Green/Kawhi/LeBron/Pau lineup ... and the Cavs would get a star back in Aldridge as well as 5 promising young players to grow with ...

Now, I highly doubt Dan Gilbert has the guts to trade LeBron but man ... it would be interesting if he did!

I am not a LeBron fan but I agree with you time to move him now and get something for it! I am a Celtics fan and I don't want him in Boston but you are right about what he could do if they picked him. I don't think LeBron and Pops could get along in San Antonio. I would love him to go to the Lakers and get out of the East but he would have to play the Warriors more during the season and have to play them in the playoffs if they made it!
Football: Emmitt Smith and CeeDee Lamb!
    Baseball: Aaron Judge/Adley Rutschman/Derek Jeter/Anthony Volpe!
Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

So, do you think a Celtics team with IT/Bradley/Crowder/LeBron/Horford could beat the Warriors? I do!

Who would he leave the Cavs next year for? Also if they do end up trading him you might as well just fold the league up outside of of a handful of teams. Just go back to an 8 team league as everyone else would just be totally worthless.

IMHO there are only two meaningful teams in the league right now ... the Warriors and whoever LeBron plays for. If LBJ leaves Cleveland, his new team will be the one team outside Golden State that matters and the Cavs will disappear.
