2017 Season Long Football Contest - Leg 2 - Show and Tell - 25 Weeks of fun!

SCF Football Show & Tell Contest 1.0

Here's your chance to show off some of your favorite cards AND win something for it!

Rules

1. Every week, entrants will be asked to showcase one of their cards following a pre-selected theme.
2. There will be a new thread created every Sunday (or Monday) in the Show & Tell Forum. My thread will state the theme for the week and the deadline for submission.
3. Each submission must be made by a post in the thread, displaying both the card and the user ID of the cardholder. The picture/scan must show your handwritten user ID next to the card. This is to avoid anyone just picking a random picture on eBay and saying the card is theirs.
4. Only one submission per member per week will be allowed (unless noted).
5. A card can only be entered into 1 weekly contest. Therefore, you cannot submit the same card as best autographed card and then again 2 weeks later as best autographed memorabilia card. Choose when to submit the card wisely!
6. After the deadline for entry has passed, a new thread will be created asking members to vote on which card they think is the best card of the theme. They can consider any of the cards characteristics when placing their vote: the condition of the card, the beauty or the patch/swatch, the value of the card, the print run etc…
7. To avoid any problems, if you edit a post which you have made to submit an entry, you will be disqualified for that week. No exceptions!

How points will be awarded:

Contest Points
In each voting week, whoever has the most votes will receive 2 points in the Show & Tell standings. Second in voting will receive 1 point in the standings.

Sayers Jersey Points:
50+ entries in a week: 3 points to the winner, 2 to 2nd place, 1 for 3rd
20-49 entries: 2 points to the winner, 1 for 2nd place
Under 20 entries: 1 point to the winner

Now on to the fun stuff:

EVERY entry will earn you 25 SCF Reward Points
Also, the winner of each week’s contest will be awarded an additional 25 SCF Reward Points and over the life of the contest, standings will be kept. At the end of the 25 weeks, we will reward the top member with the most points with this:

Themes:
Week 1 - 6/25 to 7/1 - Best Patch Card #/25 or less
Week 2 - 7/2 to 7/8 - Best autographed card (single or multi-player, auto only. No memorabilia)
Week 3 - 7/9 to 7/15 - Best non-numbered insert or base card
Week 4 - 7/16 to 7/23 - Best rookie card (any "true" rookie card, non-auto, non-memorabilia)
Week 5 - 7/24 to 7/30 - Best looking autograpgh
Week 6 - 7/31 to 8/5 - Worst looking autograph
Week 7 - 8/6 to 8/12 - Best 'Panini' card NOTHING UNDER A PRINT-RUN OF 25
Week 8 - 8/13 to 8/19 - Best Player Rainbow
Week 9 - 8/20 to 8/26 - Best 'Exquisite or National Treasues' card
Week 10 - 8/27 to 9/2 - Best 'Topps' Card NOTHING UNDER A PRINT-RUN OF 25
Week 11 - 9/3 to 9/9 - Best multi-card patches (Used to make logo, name, number)
Week 12 - 9/10 to 9/16 - Best jersey card (single or multi-player, no autographs)
Week 13 - 9/17 to 9/23 - Best AFC EAST Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 14 - 9/24 to 9/30 - Best AFC NORTH Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 15 - 10/1 to 10/7 - Best AFC SOUTH Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 16 - 10/8 to 10/14 - Best AFC WEST Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 17 - 10/15 to 10/21 - Best NFC EAST Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 18 - 10/22 to 10/28 - Best NFC NORTH Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 19 - 10/29 to 11/4 - Best NFC SOUTH Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 20 - 11/5 to 11/11 - Best NFC WEST Card (any card from a player in this division)
Week 21 - 11/12 to 11/18 - Best NCAA Card (any card from a player in a college uniform)
Week 22 - 11/19 to 11/25 - Best 'Upper Deck' Card NOTHING UNDER A PRINT-RUN OF 25
Week 23 - 11/26 to 12/2 - Best memorabilia item (non card)
Week 24 - 12/3 to 12/9 - Best card with a story (Picture of the card that has the best story of how you acquired it)
Week 25 - 12/10 to 12/16 - Best 1/1 card

The Contest will begin this Sunday, June 25th. I (or an SCF Staff member) will create a new thread in the Show & Tell Forum.
