    Card Grading

I enjoy getting my cards graded but now I noticed a lot of them don't have subgrades. I read somewhere that they wont subgrade them below 8.5 on older cards but I saw someone post an 8.5 and a 9 of newer cards but they did not have subgrades. The label just looks so plain and I like the subgrades. Can anyone explain to me what is going on with this?

Depends on the grading company. What company are you talking about on your cards?

In the OP when you said older cards you mean vintage cards?
