"Hey Mantha, I think this TREASURE is yours" (PC Showcase)

Hi everyone,


I think today marks what will be the most exciting hobby day of the year =). As some may know, I have been collecting Anthony Mantha primarily the past year or so. Though I have followed him since the day he was drafted as a Wing in 2013, it wasn't until his snipe from the top of the right circle in the outdoor game against the leafs earlier this year, where he truly won me over. Certain moments in a players career win me over, and that goal (along with this buzzer beater to send it into OT) was the one for me. Similar to Athanasiou in his Columbus Blue Jackets game in 15/16 where he almost won it in overtime with a near end to end rush, only to later win it in the shootout (really hope he isn't KHL bound -_-). Since that game, I have gone full on in collecting Mantha and have been able to amass a collection I am proud of. Now before I go on to the show, I would like to thank all who have helped me along my Mantha journey who have been generous enough to send some cards to add to my collection. Those cards, no matter what, are locked away forever in my collection.

At this point, other than a cup shield 1/1, which is no where near my radar, I don't think I can personally get any better. A 1/1 from my favorite modern set. I'll take that 7 days a week and twice on Sunday! If you made it this far, I salute you. I hope everyone enjoyed my S&T.

@ohlund2 Thanks! I see what you did there lol. To be honest, many of my jersey numbered cards actually came from the e-pack/comc platform, which I find pretty astonishing actually. I am actually two cards away (Blue Cubes 39/99 & Red Prizm Auto 39/50) and they are actually on there right now, but I spoke to both sellers and couldn't get a deal done. It would have actually been a rare feat where I would have had all possible jersey numbered versions of an entire brand/set (OPC Platinum).
