Stopping in to say Hi!

Hello all, my name is Jeff and I am just getting back into the hobby after totally abandoning it in the mid-late 90's. Unfortunately I kept nothing. Now if I could just figure out what is what! I am bringing my teenage niece and nephew with me this time around so hopefully they will get the same out of it that I have in the past.

I am a set builder, but I do like certain players/cards. I am a life long Phillies fan(shh!) and a Mike Trout collector not just because he is good, but he is a local that lives <10 minutes from me.

Anyhow, Love what I've seen from this site, and look forward to trading as soon as we get some lists compiled! Thanks for having us!

Welcome to SFC! I just came back into the hobby after 12 years myself and getting to know what's what again takes a lot of time! But I'm sure you'll have a great time learning all the new products as well as introducing your niece and nephew to this hobby. Good luck with your set building

I know when Mike goes home he is just one of the town folk.
Have you ever been to his hometown and maybe seen him.

I have never seen him, however I am in his hometown just about everyday. There are tons of stories of people running into him in the off season and say he really is just a "regular joe". I work for a contractor and we make almost daily runs to the big home improvement warehouses, both of which are in his hometown of Millville, NJ. Not to mention most of our everyday shopping needs are in Millville or neighboring Vineland.
