Report: NFL asked Jay Z to perform at the Super Bowl half time show but he declined

According to a report in The Sun, NFL representatives offered the rapper turned business man if he would accept the request for a performance, which would be a follow up to Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl LI show.

“He has enough songs to create an incredible performance but he really has no plans to do the half-time show,” a source told The Sun.

That would be utterly amazing and he would put on a fantastic show but I'm pretty sure most of the people watching the game would have no clue who he is or why is he signing songs that they recognize but not with the same lyrics....

Its better than the garbage they've been having. Plus it'll shake thing up for all these weirdos that are into fake country and hip hop crap.

Not to mention a lot of these fans are fans of Christina Agulera, who doesn't know the words to the anthem (Super Bowl from a few years ago). So they wouldnt know what real music is.
