New member, excited to find some gems to add to my pc!

Hey everyone, my name is Ayanna, pronounced like “I-Yawn-a lot” without the “lot”, I’m 19yr old college student. I’ve been collecting as long as I can remember, I was forced to love sports from an early age, while I’m still a girly girl, I’m also a tomboy. Ive actually used the dumb blond routine once or twice (probably way more) to my advantage in a few friendly wagers, truth is, I know more than alot of guys when’s it comes to sports.

I went thru the love, hate, love again for the hobby. I hated it around 15-16yrs old because, well, I was rebellious, and I used to be that lil spoiled brat who would use it against my father to hurt him, because I knew how much the hobby meant to him. Now, I wish I would’ve spent more time with him at those ages. He recently passed, and, while it’s been hard, I know that he would want us to pick up the pieces and push forward. He wouldn’t want anyone to sulk over him, and thats what I decided to do.

Anyways, he and I had a nice lil collection together. He also had his own collection which he left to Me. Unfortunately, for the time being most of his stuff is pretty much “off limits”, at least until I’m able to part with it, which I know he would want me to do, instead of dorm living and ramen noodle sustaining while away at college.

My PC kinda evolves or regresses or goes back and forth, lol. (Hey, I’m a female, I can’t decide which shoes to wear on a daily basis), however, I’m a Homer. Twins, Vikings, like Sano, Rosario, Buxton, Berrios, Kepler (oh boy Kepler!❤️) Teddy, Wayans, Harry the Hitman, Cook, Diggs. (I also have this thing for short Irish southpaws who pitch for the Mets Minor league system. However, I’ve been considering parting with that area of my PC, so if there’s any PJ Conlon Collectors, let me know, I’ve got probably 20 cards of color, autos or color autos from ‘17 Bowman and Bowman Platinum including the gold 1/1 Platinum non auto)

yes I’m a Little long winded, but that’s cause I’m a female and I’m finally going to have another outlet other than feebay for buying And selling and maybe even trading! Thanks if you stuck with me thru my acceptance speech! Hopefully we will do some business in the future!

I know she’ll hit an age where the hobby itself isn’t cool anymore but I’ll always have the good memories and she will as well.

Scott, she may, but I can almost guarantee, she will come back around. From a daughters point of view, you’re our heroes, always, even when you get the “god I hate you” remember, that’s the estrogen talking. Lol. We always come back around, and we never truly mean what we say when we’re angry!
