First, let me make it clear ... I am not a Leafs fan. So why would a Habs fan preorder a box and a tin when this product was announced? I absolutely loved the Canadiens Centennial set that UD released and always regretted not getting more of it at the time so I figured UD would do the same great job for the Toronto set. While I may not like the Leafs, I do respect their history and the rivalries that they have had with the Habs. And then I saw the checklist and the less-than-stellar reviews upon release so I had really low expectations when I picked up my box and tin from the post office yesterday.

From the box, I got 77 of the 100 card base set (although one card was damaged) with 4 duplicates. I also got 25 of the short-printed base set (including a Gold #169 - Ace Bailey Memorable Moments 057/100) and 11 die-cut base.

For the "hits", I got these two autos:

Now I mentioned I had low expectations, but this still was a letdown. I'm happy that Peter Ihnacak finally has an auto card, but still ...

I also got this:

From the tin, I got a 1947 championship banner and 78 base cards with 12 SPs and 6 die cuts.

Between the box and tin, I am missing one card (#5) to complete the 100 card base set (plus the damaged card #54) so if anyone can help me out with those, let me know. Thanks for looking.

Nice hits!! I busted a Tin & got SP's & some Die Cuts. I didnt even get a PC Cujo card, not even base lol. Should have let my wife pick the Tin, its the only time i ever get anything good..

Don't take it personally ... your wife would not have fared any better since Cujo isn't in this set.

I rechecked my set and it looks like I missed a small "hit" the first time through. One of my base short prints was a Gold parallel ... #169 Ace Bailey Memorable Moments 057/100.
