Scott- Sometimes it seems to me the thirty seconds required between posts is less than 30 seconds. Is that the case, or is it just my idea?
Also, is there any possibility the main forum page in the future might show the member on line again? I kind of miss that.Always Looking for:
A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colors because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

Most of the usergroups do have a 30 second delay in between posts as this is a spam-prevention mechanism.
I took the members online section away as it was causing from additional latency in loading the Forum home page. I have made some other adjustments that I can test this out again, but I do want to watch the load times. If there is a noticeable lag, I would be inclined to remove.

Scott- Thanks for the answers. I must say my questions feel somewhat trivial after Roger's question.
I remember when the 30 seconds was put in because we were getting a lot of spam. It just seems that sometimes it goes quicker than 30 seconds.
I also was aware that the who's online list was causing problems. I was just hoping there might a way around it.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

There are modifications that I do look at from time to time that would allow some of that information to be loaded onto a sidebar block, but again, this would tended to add time to the page loads (and the sidebar blocks would be on more than just the forum home page)
and I should have given Roger a longer answer
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well

Actually most species of duck do not "quack". In general, ducks make a wide range of calls, ranging from whistles, cooing, yodels and grunts.
