    Graphing Super Bowl Week

The Super Bowl is coming to town in a few months and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or thoughts about graphing during the week.

I see they have an NFL Experience thing that will have athletes signing which I will probably try. $35 for a day and based on previous years, it looks like there are about 10 players signing a day, although who knows how many I'd actually be able to hit with all of the people there.

Any other ideas outside of paid signings? If I show up to the practice facilities the teams are using, is there any chance they'll sign there?

And has anyone graphed a Super Bowl before? Or is it just way too crazy of a week?

I would try Radio Row. ESPN Radio always has guests on their shows. I remember people getting Urlacher like at 5 in the morning here in Phoenix on the MIKE and MIke show. If you have the time I would hang out there. I'm sure Rome will have guests on all week as well.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like that's at the Mall of America which is a bit out of the way but I might try just spending a whole day there.

Is this event something you would be looking for? Believe it different than the NFL experience with 52 signers over 3 days:

look for other events, not just NFL Experience. When it was in SF, Sports Illustrated had an autograph session at a local Macy's. It was free and much less crowded. I got AJ Green and Terrell Davis. Good Luck!

Don, thanks for the link but I think that's out of my price range. I might end up going depending on who else is signing there.

Thanks for the advice about free autograph sessions. It doesn't look like any are listed yet but I'll keep my eyes out. There are a handful of companies based out here that sponsor the NFL and/or the Vikings so hopefully they will hold signings.

Not sure but they added some free signers at the NFL Shop. Hunt being one of them for free.

I ended up going to the Super Bowl Experience 2 days and getting about 25 autographs including 5 from Hall of Famers and 1 future Hall of Famer as well as some solid NFL players such as Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith, and Luke Kuechly. I got my tickets for free too which was nice. For the Genesis and Hyundai signings (about 5 each per day), they provided pictures which was nice. A few players would not sign outside items, but the ones who did would sign outside items and give you a signed copy of the provided picture.

A few free signings outside of that popped up but many were out of the way and very limited in numbers and times. I didn't end up making any of those. Practices and NFL Honors were full of security so you couldn't get close to anyone whose autograph is worth anything.
