Todays game Somerset vs New Britain
I did not do as well as I had hoped to. With the Fathers day crowd on the field, the what seemed like 20 people waiting at the dug out for Wally Backman and the ushers chasing us away 8 minutes earlier than normal and players were still coming out. Also with the heat I did not stay the entire game.

Rainy Lara 0/3 was chased away before he came out

Matt Tuiasosopo 0/9 saw him come out as I was being chased away.

Tonights game Somerset vs Southern Maryland
The Patriots played like a last place team instead of a first place team. Dropping balls, letting a ball fall between 3 players as they stand around looking at each other and then looking like the Phillies the other night striking out the batter for the 3rd out but the catcher lets the ball get by the batter is safe and a run scores.
Plus it started to drizzle from the 7th inning on so no post game
I was the only grapher so was hoping to get everything complete

Todays game was Somerset vs SMD
With it being autograph Sunday I thought I would finish off the Patriots but that was not to be. About 6 players besides the starting battery did not come out and I needed 2 of those players.
As far as SMD I asked James Frisbee about Andrew Daniels as he has been on the DL for a month. He said its an issue with his fingers and right now there is not timetable for his return. He also said Daryl Thompson is improving very well

Last nights game vs New Britain

When I arrived last night the players were just getting off the field from BP before I was able to get to the dug out so lost an early opportunity.
Did not fair as well as I wanted. I did pre and post game and found out post game that Stewart, Badamo and Hamburger who are inactive did not make the trip and that was a killer for me. I will see NB again August 2nd and maybe August 4th and that will be it.

My wife returned from last night from her conference trip to Whistler Canada. Their keynote speaker this year was 1980 team USA goalie Jim Craig. Everyone received a signed puck.

Todays game vs the Road Warriors was pretty much a clean up day. Glad I did not stay the entire game as it was 14 innings.
Unable to still get Alex Castellanos who has been on the D/L for weeks and Adam Weisenburger who I have been trying to get for a couple of weeks. Seems like when I see him he is the starting catcher and will not sign and he went inactive yesterday. Checked with Brett Jodie and said he had a wedding to go to so will try again next weekend.

Tonights game vs Lancaster. This is the last series with Lancaster in Somerset this season

Couple of things to note

First Julio Bourbon has been inactive for about 1 week but he did play in the All Star Game. Word has it that he is signing with Mexico so we will have to wait and see

The other thing is with Lancaster which you may want to follow up on Amy
Start of the eight inning and Kevin Munson from the bull pen to pitch. Threw a few warm up pitches and just stood on the mound. Next thing Ross and the trainer are out there and taking him out and bringing in Marksberry to take over
