PTMerr01's Custom Framing Projects
So, I have been working on mat cutting for a little over a year now and I am finally comfortable in taking on some more custom/non-traditional projects. One of my favorite things about going to high end memorabilia stores was seeing how everyone displayed their stuff. It is my belief that the more exotic the display is, the cooler the actual item being displayed can be. Anyone can put a picture in a frame or a ball in a cube, we've seen these countless times before. There is nothing wrong with that, but the right display can make anyone see what us true collectors see.
One of my favorite pieces that I have is a Ken Griffey Jr autographed baseball. He has always been one of my favorite players, so being a Reds fan was even better when he joined the club (even though it was nothing like we expected his stop here to be). I always thought that it was a shame that such a timeless player was being lost behind the ink of my ball. So, with the help of photoshop and my new skill I set out to show everyone what I see every time I look at my Griffey Ball...

Pretty good. A couple of nitpicks if I may.. Comeback is one word. You reversed the letters in the abbreviation of OBP. The stats are a little too close together in my opinion. Removing the 0 before the decimal points would help give you room to space it out. I'd shrink Ken a tiny bit, maybe move him to the left a touch just so you can see part of the E in Griffey. And the shade of red looks a little dark although that might just be the picture.
