WARREN SAPP BLINDSIDED W/ BATTERY LAWSUIT ... 'You Got Served!'
Warren Sapp didn't see this coming!!!!
The NFL Hall of Famer got SERVED with a lawsuit in his battery case by a process server PRETENDING TO BE A FAN ... and executed the trick play to perfection!
As we previously reported, Sapp is being sued by a woman who claims Sapp drunkenly bowled her over at a 2015 Super Bowl party in Arizona. She claims she suffered major injuries as a result.
The woman's attorneys had been trying to serve Sapp for more than a year but couldn't quite track him down -- they felt he was "actively avoiding the process server."

Not sure if he is horrible or not but definitely not cool to be in a battery case unless there some details we do not know.

I loved Sapp as a player and he's still my favorite DT of all time ... but the dude is just a wild man off the field and always has been ... charged with domestic abuse, arrested for assaulting a prostitute, got $876k behind on alimony and child support, owed the IRS $940k+, etc.
I don't believe football players need to be bastions of righteousness to be able to play football so I have no problem saying Sapp seems like a bad dude while at the same time saying he is also my favorite DT of all-time :-)
Kobe Bryant is my favorite basketball player of all-time and he wasn't exactly A.C. Green off the court ... I don't understand the current thinking that in order to be paid to play a game one is great at, one also needs to live by some politically correct code and be a role model, etc ... to me, if a player is incarcerated he obviously won't be playing, but if he's not, he should be able to play if there is a team that wants to pay him.
