For Trade: NOW TWO Beautiful PSA 9 1972 #343 Joe Namaths

I have these two exquisite, ultra-high grade PSA 9 1972 Joe Namath #343 Pro Action high numbers for trade. One of the (if not THE) most valuable cards in the set. You don't ever see these offered for trade.

Okay, please make no bones about it, I do need to get something pretty substantial in return for one of these mint Broadway Joe's. Maybe a single card or two (HOF'ers, variations, SP high numbers??) from the 50's or 60's? I'm only looking to trade for baseball cards, as I really don't collect the other sports (unless something really piques my interest). If you're interested in talking about a trade, take a gander at the list of things I'm generally seeking (below) and LMK what you have. I'll be happy to answer any questions or provide further scans/pics, etc.

One last note: Since people will inevitably ask, "What 'trade value' do you put on the Namath?," I'll say this. I don't have a specific dollar trade value associated with the card. It really just boils down to deciding whether or not it's worth trading for what somebody has to offer. We all know what the card is basically 'worth.'
FWIW...as of today, there is only one straight PSA 9 #343 available on ebay and it's at a BIN of $309.99 plus shipping. The sole PSA 9 OC is listed at $195. If/when you find the card for sale in other places, they are listed for substantially more.

I am very interested in these:
    • HOF'ers in nice shape from the 50's and 60's, graded or ungraded
    • Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle (especially their 1961 high numbers in high grade), Jackie Robinson, Ted Williams & Roberto Clemente cards
    • Tough to find errors and variations from the 50's through the early 70's
    • 1964 Topps Stand-Up HOF'ers (need virtually any in nice shape)
    • 1961-67 Topps high numbers and SP's
    • 1963 Fleer BB stars and HOF'ers in high grade
    • 1954 Bowman HOF'ers
    • 1954 Red Heart BB (need virtually any in nice shape)
    • T-206's (possibly)
    • I could also be open to a wide variety of other stuff. LMK what you have.

Why cover the serial number? I would like to see it to check on PSA site.

It's for a small degree of privacy. On another site (I'm barely ever here on this one) I post a ton of graded cards for trade and the amount of time people spend trying to start arguments with me about what a card is 'worth' in a trade -- with the obvious goal of completely low balling me in said trade because, "You only paid such and such for it!!" -- just gets ridiculous. My response is usually, "Yep, that's what I paid for it. I got lucky. Try to find another one out there at that price if you think it's so easy to come by." It is tiring. If I'm moving close to making a trade with someone for this Namath, then I will happily send him a scan with the serial number showing. Hell, whatever the modern day equivalent of taking a picture of a hostage holding today's newspaper is, I'll gladly do that to show it's legitimate. It is just a personal preference.

JollyElm- What would you consider High Grade for the 63 Fleer?
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

Hey, most of the (ungraded) set I am upgrading is in NRMT condition (square corners, decently centered). If we're talking graded, I'd say 8 and above. Obviously, it all depends specifically on what the cards look like and what their 'value' is or what it would cost me to buy the same things on ebay, but that's a decent rule of thumb.

JollyElm- Thanks. I don't think I could consider mine to be quite that nice.

Added another one of these beauties to the trade pile. Scans updated.
