Packers To Sign TE Jimmy Graham
https://www.profootballrumors.com/20...e-jimmy-graham
The Packers intend to sign tight end Jimmy Graham to a three-year deal, sources tell ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter (on Twitter). The deal provides Aaron Rodgers with a quality red zone target at TE, something they have been seeking for years.
Pretty stupid move IMO since now they lose Jordy Nelson. 2 steps forward and 2 steps back.Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content

I don't think Graham will be the help they need!
Football: Emmitt Smith and CeeDee Lamb!
Baseball: Aaron Judge/Adley Rutschman/Derek Jeter/Anthony Volpe!
Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

As a Bears fan I would rather the Packers cut Cobb over Nelson. Cobb turns 28 in August whereas Nelson turns 33 in May. Randall's still in his prime and if they used him as a punt returner again his value would increase markedly. Jordy's on the downswing of his career and though a fan favorite, he's closer to retirement than his prime.
Graham is a good signing for the team. I don't know how much he can do between the 20s anymore, but his red zone appeal is undeniable. Rodgers can be just as improvisational as Wilson but with a stronger arm to wing it in to tight spots means Graham doesn't have to get consistent separation which lessens the need for speed in his game. His range will make him a factor.
