    Is This Authentic?

Hi, I've been talking to someone about making a deal for this. I'm not sure if it's authentic or not. It's got a COA from Take 2 which used to be a sports memorabilia and framing store. I've seen a ton of LeBron autos and it seems like with his older autograph, they vary so much. Anyone want to drop in their 2 cents? Thanks!

If I was going to pay for a Lebron auto, I would make sure it was from a reputable company. If this is a really good deal, then you are taking a risk that it is a fake so depending on how much it is, might not be worth it.

He wanted 100, but the post was 22 days old so he agreed the lowest he could go was $60. I submitted it to PSA Quick Opinion, but that's not always 100%. I'm stuck.

Without a letter of authenticity I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Everything about that is one huge red flag. But your money, your choice but if it seems a little to good to be true 99.9 percent it is.

Good point, it is a little too good to be true. There is an attached COA from the sports memorabilia store that seems very reputable, but who knows.

Does said sports memorabilia store/company still in business? If so have you tried to contact them about it? maybe they would be able to shed a little light on the subject.

Unfortunately they are not. I think they closed down a couple of years ago. Maybe I can try and find a person to contact from the old store.

Yeah if you could possibly track down the old proprietor maybe he would know. Worth a shot.

Couldn't track him down. I found a couple past workers on FB but they haven't been active in years. Not sure what else I could do here.

Here is how I would deal with the situation... I would leave the burden of proof with the owner. I would ask if he has anything else to help with ensuring it's authenticity. If you were to purchase it you,at some point, would have to have it authenticated yourself whether it would be for selling purposes or just to absolutely know that it is real. I know if I had it and I didn't 100 percent ligit it would kill me lol.awful risky so I would pass on it. Tough call I know exactly how your feeling. I have some Steelers Autographed cards and until I decide whether or not to have them authenticated I will never know if they are real or not. It's been bothering me for 2 years now.
