    2013 Bowman Chrome "1st" Cards

I'm trying to collect the 1st Bowman Chrome auto of many of the Cubs players, but noticed that in 2013 Bowman Chrome, none of the cards were stamped with this like all of the other years. Is there a reason for this?

There is no rhyme or reason to Topps handing out the 1st logo stamps. Some guys get none and some guys have even gotten it twice.

or tn the case of Christian Pache and numerous others they have a non labeled 1st Bowman prospect card only to have one the following year with the 1st Bowman label. So while Pache's true 1st Bowman was 2017 everyone will want the 2018 version simply because it says 1st Bowman even though it's not.

Collector's are too lazy now days to do actual research they just take what a card is stamped as fact.

Ya I know the application of them has been iffy, but so strange to me that they would just completely leave it off an entire year.

The rumor I've heard was Topps wanted to phase the 1st Bowman card thing out forever but the collector outrage after the 2013 (I guess they got lit up on social media) caused them to reverse the decision. Don't know if that is the truth or not but that's what I've heard and it makes sense enough for it to be true.
