I’d say like half way, I need to update my list. I expect more action in the next week or 2. I’m going to set a hard deadline this week. Plan will be the first week of October.

How does the $99 max value work ? Is that something we personally put a value on or is there some formula PSA uses to come up with what they think the value is ?

Also if we want to submit cards with a value over $99 in value how does that work ?

You can submit cards with over $99 however they are not liable if something happens to them. I did a M Sano BC Gold Ref auto last sub with no issues.

    $99 Max Value Explained:

You set the declared value of your card whether its $1 or all the way up to $99 (this is your preference).

If you submit a card that is worth more then $99, PSA has the right to not grade the card or to bump the card to the higher value service level (additional costs are associated with the higher value service level)

How does PSA determine value? : Your guess is as good as mine. They use a mix of Book/Ebay values. I know that in our last submission we had a Mike Trout Cognac RC ($1k+ Value) get graded a PSA 10 at this service level, among other cards truly valued above $99.

While PSA typically will grade these cards, you submit them at your own risk since PSA will only be responsible for the $99 declared value. You also risk having your card not graded (returns ungraded with the rest of the submission) or having to bump the card to the higher service level (you will be notified and will have to make a decision whether you want it graded at this level)

In conclusion: Send in what you feel comfortable with. I wouldn't recommend trying to sneak a $5k card into the submission, but in my experience you can get away with higher value cards than $99.

How does the $99 max value work ? Is that something we personally put a value on or is there some formula PSA uses to come up with what they think the value is ?

Also if we want to submit cards with a value over $99 in value how does that work ?
