Kaare Vedvik, a rookie kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, was hospitalized Saturday morning after being found with head injuries consistent with an assault, according to law enforcement.

Baltimore Sun reports the 24-year-old American footballer was sent to a Shock Trauma, a special center in Maryland that treats severe injuries, after he was left with damage to his upper body.

Firefighters called law enforcement to the scene in East Baltimore at 4am.

Radio station 105.7 The Fan, posted on Twitter that he ‘had his teeth knocked out’.

Baltimore law enforcement spokesperson, T.J. Smith said in a statement: ‘At this time, we have not confirmed how his injuries occurred.

The injuries are not life-threatening. Investigators are conducting follow ups in reference to this.’

The Ravens head coach engaged in some victim blaming as well.

It was disappointing for him because I think it cost him a chance to kick in this league," Harbaugh said Monday. "He would've had a shot. There were plenty of trade talks.

My dad said, 'Nothing good ever happens after midnight.' And it was well after midnight," Harbaugh said. "So, we'll be talking to the young guys next year. Be a little smarter. Be more aware of your surroundings. Don't be by yourself.

If he was a better player or well known start the coach wouldn't have said SQUAT about him being out late or whatever. Also lol at Baltimore being so violent that their own football players can't go out at night safely by themselves.
