Good Grief. I don't want to even guess how hard it was to put together those Matthews Compendium cards.

i got as far as the Red & the Blue Matthews & gave up on going for the Gold. I may have got to the Gold but i would have had to pay 5 x what the card would ever be worth to get it. Gotta luv E-Pack, where every card is worth more than its actual value because "you need it"!!

No kidding. I get why people want a premium for the stars, I do, but there are two things that totally confuse me about ePack:

1. Cards that are both transferable & can be combined: Why on earth would you transfer a card to sell on COMC, where you're going to make a dime (or less) *IF* you sell it... when there are already more than 100 copies priced that way.... especially when the card can be combined to make rarer parallels? I know of a lot of cards I've seen on COMC that I would have been happy to pay a quarter for (and that's more than the seller will actually see) *IF* they were still on ePack, and not transferred out.

2. ePack users that insanely over-value their transferables. It's some kind of "hit" therefore it's worth a lot. Especially after the redemption period lapses on things. I'm sorry - but you jersey card that you'll be lucky to ever sell for $1.50 isn't a big deal. I'd rather have 10 non-transferable McDavid base cards.
