Patrick mahomes
I'm just curious if anyone in this site invested heavily into Mahomes ... I don't think I saw him play more than a handful of times in college but man is he a talent and a ton of fun to watch and I just checked eBay and his card prices are going wild which is awesome to see ... so ... did anyone on this site invest big-time in him, or has anyone just jumped on the bandwagon recently and invested? I'd love to know.
Honestly, I think he'll win the MVP this year, which would be remarkable for a first year starter! I think by the end of the year, Brady, Rodgers, Brees and Goff will all be in the MVP race as I expect their teams to win their division titles and for them to put up quality stats, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Mahomes win it and that would be a cool story!
P.S. For all the goobers who think I'm biased for Jameis … someone biased for Jameis would NEVER post a thread like this … I have posted a bunch of threads focused on various QB's and have made my love for Sam Darnold and Josh Allen known, and now I'm happily stating that I think Mahomes is amazing and I love watching the young man sling it. I know QB play, love QB play, and have a lot of guys that I root for!

No one on this site made a major investment in Mahomes? That's sad ... someone would have been able to retire early if they sold now :-)

He sure was fun to watch Monday night. Amazing and frustrating. Slips away from Von, throws a left handed pass and completes it! Just amazing!
But no, I don't spend money on Chiefs, Raiders, or Chargers. Or Patriots. Just had to throw that in, haha.

I can understand that as you seem like a legit super "team" fan … quick question … do you think Chad Kelly will get to start a game this year if the Broncos get mathematically eliminated from the playoff equation? That kid seems to have some potential.

I hope so, but I doubt it.
I don't think Elway will replace Keenum unless injury forces him to.

Man, Mahomes is fun to watch ... he and Jameis Winston were almost identical (Jameis was better as he had more passing yards, total yards, a much higher comp % and a higher passer rating) and both put on a show today, both threw a RZ pick and an ugly pick, both threw 4 TDs and had over 350 yards, etc., and both were let down by their atrocious defenses ... but man, these two along with Wentz are the three most promising young QBs in the game and barring injury should be able to have some great battles for the next decade ... fun stuff. Deshaun Watson is another young gun that is fun to watch … I just worry that the Texans offensive line is going to get him injured … they need to fix that and fast!
