Welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, Breakers.TV, and YouTube, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past week:
We’ll start this edition of the blog with a couple of college football hits from some of this past years top picks – Baker Mayfield, Saquon Barkley, and the legendary Barry Sanders! These all came out of our 2018 Panini Flawless Collegiate Football break! We think the top two picks have lived up to expectations thus far – Mayfield has the Browns going in the right direction after a quarter of the NFL season while Barkley caught a TD from OBJ yesterday! (Yes that is not a typo!). Always great finding some legends of the game as well and this Barry Sanders does not disappoint, the patch looks to be an ‘O’ from the Sooners nickname or Oklahoma State across the chest of the OSU jerseys back in the day.

Going back in time for this next hit from 2007/08 Upper Deck Trilogy it’s Sid the Kid! Ice Scripts is personally one of my favorite subsets in hockey, there’s just something about the auto on the clear acetate that just clicks with hockey cards! This came out of the big hockey mixer break from last week.

All-world soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo checks in with an auto from 2017/18 Panini Select Soccer. Now on Juventus F.C. in the Italian Serie A league, Rolando has not skipped a beat so far this season with some highlight reel goals and assists in the first month or so of action! Our final spotlight comes from the football mixer last week and 2015 Topps Definitive Collection – a DeMarco Murray 1 of 1 with the sickest of all Eagles patches!
